Who is affected?
Both current and retired employees enrolled with the Federal Employee Program Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans are affected.
Is my Medicare coverage effected?
No, Hutchinson Clinic will still accept the Medicare rates and coverage as an in network provider. Patients will not be billed more than what Medicare and their secondary plan allows.
What does this mean if I keep my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan?
Please review your out-of-network plan benefits carefully as your out of pocket costs may change.

Is Hutchinson Clinic in network with any of the Federal Employee Benefits Plans?
Yes, Hutchinson Clinic is in network with the United Health Care, Aetna, and Cigna plans offered by Federal Employee Health Benefits Programs.
Will I lose my Federal Employee Health Retired Benefits if I switch insurance carriers?
No, All patients eligible for Federal Employee Health Benefits can switch plans or insurance carriers during open enrollment.
