More about Dr. Little: Dr Little completed his undergraduate studies at Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas. Dr Little previously worked for Hutchinson Regional Medical Center/Reno County EMS for seven years prior to attending medical school. He graduated with top honors in the Alpha Omega Phi Honor Society from The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. Little completed his pediatric residency training at Ascension St. John Children's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He served as chief resident and received the academic achievement award for his academic and clinical performance during residency. He has been a partner in a private practice in the tri-county area of Detroit Michigan at Schomaker & Little Pediatrics for the past ten years. He received appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics from Central Michigan University School of Medicine.
During his tenure in the Detroit area he served on multiple hospital committees and boards and was on the board of directors for a 2200 physician-hospital organization, The Physician Alliance. His practice was designated the #1 patient centered medical home practice by Blue Cross in Michigan.
Dr Little is married to Tara of Hutchinson and has three children all of whom are excited to be returning “home,” to Hutchinson.
