At this time the Blue Cross Blue Shield contract has not been renewed and we expect to go out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans starting January 1, 2025. Who is affected?
Both current and Non-Medicare retired employees enrolled with the Pfizer Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans are affected.
Is my Medicare coverage effected?
No, Hutchinson Clinic will still be in network with Medicare and the Pfizer United Health Care Medicare Advantage plan in 2025.
What does this mean if I keep my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan?
Please review your out-of-network plan benefits carefully as your out of pocket costs may change.

Is Hutchinson Clinic in network with any of the Pfizer medical plan options?
Yes, Hutchinson Clinic will be in-network with all United Health Care plans offered by Pfizer Benefits in 2025.
Can I make changes to my plan?
Yes, you may make changes during the Annual Enrollment period through October 25th. By mid-November, you will receive a statement at your home address on file from the Pfizer Benefits Center confirming your 2025 health and insurance elections. The last day you can make changes or corrections is December 6.
